Coleman
I absolutely adore Coleman! He is so funny and cute. He really is a good guy. Today he was so hilarious when he was at the hospital with Carly and he told Epiphany, " Hey, it was just an order of fries! If she didn't get them from me, she would have gotten them somewhere else." Like they were an illegal substance! Coleman needs more story and a girlfriend! He was also so funny at the non-wedding when he hopped up on the bar with Coleman's kittens and sang "Macho Man". what is your favorite Coleman moment?
Coleman Lake Campground
Any of y'all from Alabama ever been to the Coleman Lake Recreation Campground? We went for an overnight stay last weekend and it was really nice. They have quite a few sites and it was pretty full but still quiet. We really enjoyed the time to reconnect with each other. My husband, son and I played games, roasted marshmallows and took walks. I also got some cool pics. I'm attaching one of the fire pics I took. Who else took a camping trip this summer?
Wife of Gary Coleman Arrested
Gary Coleman's wife is keeping it all in the family - the arrest record that is. 23 year old Shannon Price was arrested after a fight with her hubby, Gary Coleman. She was booked for investigation of domestic violence, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. There is no word about the pint sized actor's role in the incident, nor if he sustained any injuries.
Norm Coleman's Bigger Worry?
MINNESOTA: "FBI agents in Minnesota have begun asking questions about the relationship between former U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman and a close friend and donor, according to a Minnesota source to whom the agents talked, "the Pioneer Press reports. "The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter, said the 'main topic' of the two agents' questions surrounded an allegation that Bloomington financier Nasser Kazeminy paid for suits and other items Coleman and his wife shopped for at Neiman-Marcus in Minneapolis."http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2009/05/14/1931512.aspx?CommentPosted=true#commentmessage
Specter apologizes for supporting Coleman on Tuesday. I'll be a good democrat!
And so ends his independence. Now that he's been stripped of his seniority by democrats he's ready to tow the party line and kiss the feet of Harry Reid, Al Franken, and anyone else with a "D" next to their name. "Specter's comments came after an interview with the Times in which the Pennsylvania senator declared he is rooting for a Coleman win in the hotly-contested Senate race. "There is still time for the Minnesota court to do justice and declare Norm Coleman the winner," he told the magazine. The Pennsylvania senator said he "misspoke" in an interview with the New York Times Tuesday when he voiced his support for GOP Sen. Norm Coleman, who is locked in a recount battle with Democratic challenger Al Franken in Minnesota."In the swirl of moving from one caucus to another, I have to get used to my new teammates," Specter told CQ Politics. "I'm ordinarily pretty correct in what I say. I've made a career of being precise. I conclusively misspoke."This guy is a freaking joke. If you just look at voting records you'd see he should be best friends with Coleman. Both have an even 50/50 voting record and both have been Democrats and Republicans at some point. The fact is...
Why can't they just have a runoff election in Minnesota for Coleman and Franken?
The excuse I kept hearing was how it would cost taxpayer dollars. Well here we are now, FOUR MONTHS LATER, and they are still fighting it out in court, and still have more votes to count. Georgia in the meantime ran a quick and simple runoff election that put Saxby Chambliss in the senate with absolutely no question that he was a valid winner of the election. With the mess in Minnesota right now it's clear that no winner will really be seen as valid since both candidates have won at some point. We've now wasted four months worth of taxpayer dollars in legal battles over this election and it has resulted in Minnesota only having half the representation that they should have. At this point I don't think anyone can deny that a runoff election would have been not only simpler, but cheaper as well. Is there anyone at this point who would be against a runoff election to get this crap over with?
Coleman's Lead Down to 5 in Minnesota Senate Recount
Suddenly, we've got a race on out hands as Senator Norm Coleman's lead has dwindled to a mere 5 votes over Democratic challenger Al Franken.http://www.startribune.com/politics/national/senate/Also, the Minnesota Supreme Court ordered Coleman and Franken to work with the Secretary of State and election officials to set up a process to identify ballots that were rejected in error. What do you think NOW? What had looked like a sure GOP win now doesn't look so sure, does it? Annie
Norm Coleman Under Investigation
The FBI os inestigating allegations, stemming from lawsuits in Texas and Delaware, that top Coleman donor Nasser Kazeminy improperly funneled tens of thousands of dollars to Coleman and/or his wife Laurie. http://news.yahoo.com/s/thenation/20081210/cm_thenation/45389157 Here's an excerpt from the above article: A few days before the election, a lawsuit filed in a Texas district court alleged that one of Coleman's biggest donors and closest friends, Nasser Kazeminy, had routed $75,000 to Coleman's wife, Laurie. The suit was filed against Kazeminy by Paul McKim, a self-described diehard Republican and CEO of Deep Marine Technologies, a deep sea energy exploration company in Houston in which Kazeminy is controlling shareholder. A second lawsuit, filed by minority shareholders of DMT in Delaware a few days later, alleged that Kazeminy ordered the payments directly to Coleman. According to the lawsuit, Kazeminy told a confidential source: "We have to get some money to Senator Coleman" because the Senator "needs the money." When McKim and DMT's CFO objected, three payments of $25,000 were then sent to Coleman's wife at a Minneapolis-based insurance firm, the Hays Insurance Co, even...
Newlywed Gary Coleman brings marital woes to "Divorce Court"
LOS ANGELES - The honeymoon is over for Gary Coleman and his new bride. The 40-year-old actor and his 22-year-old wife, Shannon Price, are set to appear on TV's "Divorce Court" on May 1 and 2. The couple wed in August after meeting on the set of the 2006 comedy "Church Ball."Among the problems the pair discusses with Judge Lynn Toler are Coleman's anger and intimacy issues. Coleman and Price agree they have "ugly" monthly fights."If he doesn't get his way, he throws a temper tantrum like a five-year-old does," Price says, according to a transcript of the show provided to The Associated Press. "He like stomps the floor and yells, 'Meehhhh,' and starts throwing stuff around. He bashes his head in the wall, too."Coleman says he gets frustrated because "the male is always the bad guy.""When I try to state my case or explain things to her or try to get her to understand my point of view," Coleman says, "my point of view doesn't matter."Price also complains that Coleman has no friends and inexplicably disappears from home in the middle of the night. When Toler presses him, Coleman admits he is negative."I don't have any friends and don't have any intention of...
Gary Coleman's eBay Pants
Bidding ended last night for Gary Coleman's signed athletic pants from The Gap Kids. The auction ended at $400,000. Bids skyrocketed last week when Jimmy Kimmel bid $80 on the pants on his show. That night the auction hit the four-figure mark. Gary Coleman later called into Jimmy and said he thought most of the bids were bogus. The seller asked for pre-approved bidders only. A $50 million bid was nixed early on.
